My Reading Challenge short story.
Hello there! In 2016, I did not read much because I was not serious. I am not sure I read up to ten non-Academic books. In my mind, I thought I was doing great but actually I was not. When I stumbled on Readathon by Ope Akinbo on Instagram, I was determined to read more and be better because I love reading.
That is the end of the story.
This is the 48th week of the year and I should be on my 48th book of the year. Guess what? I am on my 30th book. It is not awesome but it is not bad either compared to last year’s progress.
I decided to come up with Dasience Reading Challenge. Yay!!!!! Drumroll please! The plan is to get book lovers and potential readers to go on a reading challenge. To join the challenge, send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will take it up from there.
A reading challenge is not a competition it is a personal thing. The goal is to get better. I will not be suggesting titles but I will be giving prompts that will guide us throughout our journey. Just send a message and it will be sorted out.
Apart from the Reading challenge, We about to create magic! I plan to create an anthology on women and period/period pain. It will be great to have women from different countries, background, class to share their stories. Let it be something that would cut across our culture, race or whatever. The only thing that would matter is our humanity. Age doesn’t matter here too. You can send me a message on email@example.com indicating your interest. If you are male and you have experienced someone go through period pain or just want to share your thoughts on period. Please send a message to me.
I will be expecting to hear from you. I can’t wait to hear from you. The Reading Challenge will be fun!
The last part of celebrating greatness for the year will be out next month. Yay! If you don’t know what I am talking about. Check out the first episode of celebrating greatness here.
Catch you later.
