Burgers N Shakes is one of those places on the Mainland I always wanted to check out. I finally visited Burgers N Shakes recently with a friend. It looked exactly as I had seen in pictures, do continue reading to find out how my Burgers N Shakes experience.
Burgers N Shakes is located at 92, Adeniran Ogunsanya street, directly across Polaris bank. It is actually not too far from Leisure Mall/Adeniran Ogunsanya mall which I had visited countless time before I noticed Burgers N Shakes was close by.
Faux plants, wooden aesthetics, gallery wall are the word I would describe Burgers N Shakes with. It’s not enthralling but it is oddly cute. You should note that the parking space is limited. The restaurant is small and was slightly filled (a birthday celebration) while we got there. There was only a member of staff that was available to attend to everyone.
There were a lot of things that was not working, the POS at Burgers N Shakes was not working, they did not have buffalo sauce, they did not have pineapple to make smoothies, we did not even get receipts. I was almost over it. My friend and I did not have a lot of time to spend there but a lot of time still got wasted at the end of the day.
Our food took timeee, the waiter told us 20 minutes but it actually took longer than that. My friend and I had to leave the restaurant soon, the time wastage was annoying.
I had Buffalo Chicken Wings; my chicken wings was tasty, I liked it but the fries were too salty for my me. My friend had Burgers N Shakes’ happy bun burger could not eat his burger there (time) but he later told me he enjoyed his burger. The bun looked soft, it actually looked promising. I really enjoyed their Oreo Milkshake, that was my favourite thing from Burgers N Shakes.
It was supposed to be a take out but the moment I tasted it, I just could not stop
The food was good, the person that waited on us was pleasant but I think the problem is the management, it could be better.
I won’t say I had a great experience at Burgers N Shakes, the experience could be better, it was so hot at a point. I have never had this problem at a restaurant. However, if things could get better (or if it doesn’t), its an okay place to meet-up with friends and just hangout, perhaps after seeing a movie at the cinema close by (I think they have the best deals I know).
Would I go back to Burgers N Shakes? I am not sure but it’s on the mainland and I might need somewhere to meet someone one day, it could come up then but actually planning to go there, no.
Have you been to Burgers N Shakes? How was your experience?
